The mast can be deployed on the rear of our vehicle and adjusted to the vertical whatever angle the vehicle is parked on, requiring just a standard size parking space to work from.
Alternatively, the mast can be mounted on a portable tripod, allowing easy access to confined spaces.
Overview use 10 Megapixel Canon G7 or 12 Megapixel Canon EOS 450D DSLR cameras mounted on a remote controlled pan and tilt head, securely fitted to the mast. Remote control software allows the operator to view exactly what the camera is seeing in real time, and to adjust the camera settings throughout. The mast is elevated and photos taken at varying angles and elevations up to it's maximum of 50 feet (windy conditions may require operating at a reduced height). Photos download direct to the laptop as they are taken allowing instant checking of the images obtained. Although the mast can be stabilised using guy ropes, photography is not possible in very high winds or rain. Once photography is complete, images are transferred to CD. A4 prints can also be produced on site, using Canon printers, Chromalife inks and papers. Overview Photography has £2m public liability insurance cover.
For the ultimate in rapid deployment and portability, we also have a hand held 25' mast using the G7 camera. Again, all camera controls can be operated from the ground, and a live image of what the camera sees is transferred to a control box attached to the mast.
